A digital light processing (DLP) projector from BenQ, the DX650 has plenty of features and quality for the most demanding business applications. With a footprint of just 12.13 by 9.45 inches, this stylish projector sets up on nearly any convenient surface and weighs just 5.8 pounds, making transportation painless.
The DX650 operates at a distance of 2.6 to 33 feet, with an adjustable projection screen size of 22 to 300 inches. The manual zoom/manual focus lens has an F number (aperture) range of 2.6 to 3.1 and an f number (focal length) range of 23 to 27.6 mm, which combine with digital keystone correction to help achieve accurate, in-focus projections across the entirety of the image. The DX650 also has a variable aspect ratio of either 4:3 or 16:9 and a zoom ratio of 1:1.2.
Compatible with a wide range of operating systems, including PC and Macintosh, the DX650 supports NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and NTSC 4.43 video signals via its RGB, S-Video, composite video, and component video inputs, while USB and RS232 ports are provided for control inputs. A XGA native resolution of 1,024 x 768 ensures that projected images retain their clarity even at great distances, while the dynamic color management system (DCMS) provides color support of over 16.7 million colors, resulting in accurate, true-to-life images that are sure to impress.
Also contributing to the exceptional image quality are a 600:1 contrast ratio, 1,600 ANSI lumens of brightness, and a 85% brightness uniformity. The UHP 200 Watt lamp provides over 2000 hours of lamp life, while the internal power supply (100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz) consumes a maximum of 330W. The internal fan emits less than 34 dB of noise during normal operation, while the internal 3-Watt mono speaker provides reasonably clear, intelligible audio. The DX650 also comes backed with a three year limited warranty.
